Pre-Makeready is made up of two parts:
- Printing plant layout.
- Gathering of materials for the next press run.
These tasks include:
- The space around the presses needed for forklifts.
- Paper storage / handling.
- Plate storage / handling.
- Ink storage.
- Operating tools.
- Room for the workers to perform maintenance and operate the press.
