Make and examine the trial impressions.
Here the first impressions of the new job are made. These first impressions serve to test the settings of the press. If there are any errors then they are corrected at this point. The press operator will look for the following:
- Hickies.
- Ghosting.
- Smearing of text or image.
- Registration.
- Check the color densities.
