We tested them and we know how well they actually work.
This website is intended for practitioners of print-related technology and others who are not scanner savvy to become more knowledgeable users. This site will inform and help them understand more about:
- how a scanner works,
- how to use a scanner,
- and a study on selected attributes of a scanner.
As you navigate through the site, an interactive glossary will further ease your understanding of the technical “lingo” used throughout the site. Visual aids such as images and videos will help guide you visually along with each topic.
In our studies, we conduct tests on 10 selected scanners to see how well they can reproduce the original image. Using density and noise as our main focus, we were able to show you the scanner’s ability and the results are quite interesting.
