

Lloyd Schuh grew up in the family printing and direct mail business founded in Little Rock, Arkansas in 1948. He moved to Houston in 1989 to become supervisor of database management and computer graphics for the Houston division of a national direct mail company. During that time he also discovered his interest in teaching and began teaching Graphic Design part time at Houston Community College and Lone Star College. In 1999 he became a full-time faculty member and Department Chair of HCC's Digital Communication Department. He currently teaches for the U of H Digital Media Program.
Lloyd holds a BA in Communications (Journalism/Radio/TV) from Oklahoma State University and a Masters in Education from the University of Houston. He is currently working on his Doctorate at U of H.
He has served as President, Houston Association of Digital Publishers; Vice President, Advertising Federation/Arkansas; Board Member, Printing Industries of the Gulf Coast and is currently a member of the Advertising Federation of Houston; International Graphic Arts Education Association; Association of Internet Professionals; and Art Directors Club of Houston.
In 2001 he was selected as an Apple Distinguished Educator, and has presented papers at a number of national and regional conferences.
